Malaysia News Highlights : 26th June 15
- Malaysia share prices opened flat on Thursday morning with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index little changed at 1,716.64 points, down 0.17 points.
- Indonesia's Rajawali Group said yestersday it would want to hold at least 21% of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd if the Malaysian firm decides to seek a controlling stake in Rajawali unit PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk.
- Heng Huat Resources Group Bhd is investing RM35 million in capital expenditure (capex) to build a new oil palm empty fruit bunch (EFB) fibre manufacturing facility in Gua Musang, Kelantan.
- Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV)'s proposed acquisition of a 37% non-controlling
- equity stake in Eagle High Plantations (EHP) for US$680 million (RM2.6 billion) is deemed a steep price to pay and can result in dilution of the group's earnings.
